CV FEEDBACK SESSIONS
One-hour CV feedback sessions online with field or/and country-specific CV advice. Students receive valuable information & tips to tailor their CV to the sector & country they are interested in and ensure it is ATS compliant.
MOCK INTERVIEWS
An online mock interview that lasts 45 minutes, providing students with feedback on their job interview skills and helping them prepare for a real-life interview.

ELM has moved all workshops online. While on-campus workshops promise a more in-depth and individualised training experience, online workshops are a great alternative to prepare students for their next career steps without geospatial restrictions.
LOOKING FOR WORK AROUND THE GLOBE
What: Understanding the role cultural differences play in CV writing, being able to apply in a foreign country knowing what is required by employers in other countries, which application methods work best, what skill sets make employers tick, what to mention in your CV whether it is for a job in Shanghai, Stockholm or Sydney.
Who: Students and recent graduates interested in starting an international career.
UNPACKING STUDY ABROAD INTO CAREER SUCCESS
What: After the workshop, participants will understand the value of their study abroad experience. Workshop attendees will be able to see their international experience through the interviewer’s eyes and know-how to market it during their job hunt and job interview.
Who: Students & graduates who have international experience and want to effectively present it to potential employers.
CAREER OPTIONS FOR PHD’S IN THE NETHERLANDS
What: A full-day workshop session designed to help participants understand more about the Dutch labour market and doing business in the Netherlands. The workshop also explores career possibilities and explains cultural differences in application procedures in the Netherlands.
Who: Maximum of 20 PhD candidates or Post-Docs.
INTERNATIONAL CAREER GUIDANCE FOR PHD CANDIDATES
What: One full-day and two half-day workshop sessions that help participants get to grips with their international career development and create their own action plan for their next career step. Most importantly, they will be able to act on that action plan and take their career towards the next level, either within academia or beyond.
Who: Maximum of 12 PhD candidates or Post-Docs.
