Join Katie, Hajime and Nannette for their APAIE presentation about Measuring the Impact of Learning Mobility Programmes on Employability on March 29th 2022.
Studying abroad has been associated with improving students’ employability and enhancing their career prospects. Is study abroad really impactful on students professional development or do we just (wish to) believe that? If we assume the first, how do we measure impact? Universities around the world encourage learning mobility programmes as they understand the positive impact on their students. But is it possible to measure this impact and if yes, how? Conceptualising students’ learning curves after mobility and helping students to demonstrate the added value to others is key.
