PhD candidates often face questions around career development, which differ from the issues ‘regular’ university employees are confronted with. To be able to move ahead and to prepare for their next career step, a step that is not necessarily taking place in the academic world.
A (virtual) high-intensity workshop, delivered by Nannette Ripmeester, of two full days tailored to Dutch PhD candidates that provides participants with the necessary tools and tips to understand their career values and identify future career paths based on their interests and skills.
Participants will have the opportunity to create their own action plan for their next career step. Most importantly, they will be able to act on that action plan and take their career towards the next level, either within academia or beyond. Delegates will feel empowered to look for work in their research field, inside and outside of the Netherlands.
