Employability Lab Webinar: Preparing for a Virtual Exchange
As the world is adjusting to a remote reality amid the COVID-19 pandemic, students are also invited to give virtual exchange programs a go.
This webinar is aimed at prospective NSCC students who will be joining a virtual exchange programme to help them understand the value of a virtual exchange on their professional development and learn how to best prepare tomake the best of this unique experience. Participants will get practical tips and useful information for working effectively in remote, intercultural teams – now & in the future. You will learn how to:
– Conceptualize the benefits of a virtual experience
– Work remotely with different cultures: do’s and don’ts
– Build intercultural competence while staying at home
