Join us for a thorough discussion on supporting students’ employability in times of uncertainty, looking at how to better equip them for a job market during and after the COVID-19 crisis.
At this very moment, a common struggle among international higher educators is continuing to provide students with mobility and employability opportunities during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Research shows that students are anxious about their future and seek employability skills to best navigate a global society that is constantly changing. When universities teach students employability skills, they don’t just equip them with the skills that employers are looking for but most importantly, they are giving them the skills and knowledge they need to become the best versions of themselves in life and at work. And while providing those skills is only one part of the equation, helping students understand how to leverage those skills in real-life situations is the second and sometimes overlooked part. Training and unpacking employability skills have never been more relevant.
In this webinar, we will hear from career and mobility experts working for universities in Europe and North America, about what they are currently doing at their institutions to support students in gaining employability skills and preparing them for the world of work.
